I’ve always been fascinated by the question, ‘What makes us human?’ and spent most of my life studying those unique qualities. First, at the biological level, and now at a psychological one. While earning my M.A. in Applied Social Psychology, I helped shine a light on what motivates us to form attitudes and make those BIG life decisions on a moral basis. And in uncovering those little secrets, I demonstrated how those levers can be used to persuade us to overcome some BIG obstacles.

Before I returned to school to earn my master’s, I was helping lead national brands for an award-winning advertising agency. For nearly a decade, I worked on major brands like ASICS, Petco, Monster Energy, and El Pollo Loco, as well as those in highly regulated industries like healthcare (UCSD Health), med-tech (LivaNova), spirits/beverage (Wild Turkey Bourbon), and cannabis (Jetty Extracts). I also helped pick up a few major new business wins along the way.

Now, I want to find a way to bring those two worlds together. As good branding and communication have always been part art and part science, I feel most qualified to provide counsel on that integration. Whether it be for a consultancy, freelance, or part of an in-house team, I always want to be where the good honest work is being made.
